Writing this folio full of different writing styles was really helpful in learning how to adapt to suit different media formats and audiences. From writing blog posts and reviews, to conducting interviews, I gained more of an understanding of tone, structure, and storytelling techniques to engage specific audiences and demographics. 

These writing pieces included an interview about a holiday gone wrong, three separate blog posts about a local business, the best skincare products and a review, all written with different formats. For each written piece, I also did research into the target audience I was writing for, and the techniques I used to create writing that would be engaging for them. This involved researching and reading articles from different magazines to get a sense of what my target audience was reading, and how it was set up. 

Overall, it strengthened my writing skills, learning the importance of knowing who and what you’re writing for, building trust and relatability.
